I'm looking to sign up with NMCA [National Muscle Car Assoc.] but
before I do, was courious if anyone here belongs and has entered any of
their shows or race with them?
Do they pretty much follow IHRA or NHRA tech's? [already a member]
Do they race heads-up or on index or both? I thought I'd try locating
a little general info before sending in $$ to get a rule book

I was a member of that club when they got started (must be about
8 years ago by now). At the time they raced heads up style only
with classes broken out by engine displacement only (351 and under,
352 and over). Over the years they changed to accomodate Turbo
GN's that were dominating the small block class, and they were
headed to some kind of limited index racing when I left.
I do not remember what tech they used, but I still have my rule book
around somewhere. Unfortunately, they made quite a bit of changes
year to year, so anything I have could possible be way out of date.
