The classic car auctions have started here in Phoenix..The Jackson-Bar.
was last week..It was much smaller and very light in the musclecar area
as compared to the last few years..I would estimate that is was only
half as big as last year..The bidding was quite low and it appeared
most of the real rare stuff never got to the reserve..The good point
was that there were alot of no reserve cars..They claimed a 80% sale
rate..A couple of seeming great deals I saw were a 70 cuda convert
(383 auto ac 40k miles.)went for 6300, a cuda AAR for 7100, a 69
charger R/T for 6800, a 69 mustang CJ for 8300..The Kruse is this
week (weds-sun) and we shall see what they have later in the week..
