85.0. "Holman-Moody" by DESERT::WOYAK () Wed Mar 04 1992 11:42
    I was doing another round of "cleaning" out old boxes and found some
    old Holman-Moody literature. I know they used to sell alot of Ford
    racing/muscle parts, developed some of their own, and I believe even
    preped some of the old "R" code Fords. One of the packets I found list
    complete engines and the other selected parts and services..I believe
    they were more to Ford than say a Baldwin/Motion, Nickey or Yenko was
    to chevy.??..
     Anyone remember these guys.??. When did they go poof..??..Were they
    more an R & D house or just a fancy machine shop..??..Just wondering..
    Amazing how cleaning can bring out old memories.

| | Pretty sure they were the guys to beat (prep-wise/team organization etc) in
the '60's NASCAR days.
Seem to remember they did some work on Ford's Monte Carlo rally cars as well.
