In the most recent EASYNOTES.LIS Update #383 there was a reference to a
new Computer Music file (IMDOWN::COMMUSIC) and Computer Music (Volume 1)
(IMDOWN::COMMUSIC_V1) and archieved conference. The EASYNET_CONFERNCES
note number 313 points out that these are actually the same old COMMUSIC
notesfile we know and love. The new conference is restricted to
members only.
This may lead to some confusion that perhaps the moderator(s) could
unravel. Moderators please feel free to move this note to a more
appropriate spot or delete as you see fit.

I don't see any confusion. Since IMDOWN::COMMUSIC isn't really
open for business yet, it makes sense for it to be a
members/moderators only file right now. Monday we get to start with a
brand new clean slate !

Just to clarify ...
DNEAST::COMMUSIC (OLD) is open for business until 21-Feb-1992 5pm EST.
At this time, the conference will be closed, write-locked, and moved to
node IMDOWN. It will be renamed to COMMUSIC_V1.
IMDOWN::COMMUSIC (NEW) is in place but is currently members-only
(perceptive, Karl). This is to allow the moderators to poke thru and
make sure I didn't forget anything. (Incidentally, I created this on
another node earlier this week - there were a few things I forgot to
do, so it's a good thing we're doing this.)
The NEW conference will be open for business no later than Monday,
24-Feb-1992, 8am EST, and will be accessible as IMDOWN::COMMUSIC.
The old conference will also be open for READ-ONLY access at this same
time as IMDOWN::COMMUSIC_V1.
I will make sure 313 in EASYNET_mumble is correct, just to be safe.
