Hi ! I'm looking for software (ATARI-ST) to change my OBERHEIM Matrix 1000 patches. Is anyone a proudly owner of this software ? Who knows something about that ? Thanks.. Markus

I have Dr. T's (or is it Caged Artist) Matrix-6/1000 patch editor for the Amiga, and I assume it's available for the ST. The documentation is generic, i.e., doesn't tell you anything about the Matrix-6/1000 architecture, so you have to know what all the parameter names (sometimes abbreviated) mean. I don't know how similar the ST version woul dbe to the Amiga version, and I haven't used it in a long long time, and even then I didn't use it much, so this is a pretty content free recommendation... len. | |||||
2821.2 | CLab's Polyframe | TERESA::GABEL | Music was my first love ... | Wed Jan 15 1992 04:04 | 25 |
Clab has a modular universal editor called Polyframe. It is a base system where you can add serveral so-called "adaptions". It costs 580.-DM. It seems to be quite expensive. But the following adaptions are for free: - Yamaha DX7 - " TX802 - Oberheim M1000 - Roland D50/D550 - " D110 and some others I cannot recall. Also a module called PM-UNI is included. I allows you to build up your own editor for almost any kind of synth. There are some other adaptions which are offered by Clab for 150 - 200 DM. - Yamaha SY77/TG77 - Korg T serie - Korg WaveStation Many others are supposed to follow. The editor runs under Softlink AND MROS. Thus you can change your patches while the sequencer (Notator or Cubase) is running. It uses a Combikey (dongle), that can be inserted between the sequencer key and the ROM port. There is no need for changing keys or a key extender. Hermann-Josef |
