2784.0. "ROLAND RA90 REAL TIME ARRANGER" by HOO78C::GULICKX_B () Wed Dec 11 1991 10:30
HI,
I just would like to add a note on the Roland RA90 Real Time Arranger.
It's the follow-up of the RA50. The RA50 price is decreasing drastically.
Especially occasions are getting available below Hfl. 1000,- which is
around $500.
Before I write anything about the RA90, I wait till some one gets
interested in this beast. (I do not know the RA50)
I just purchased one myself two weeks ago, still learning but if you
want to know someting about it, just shoot......
My 'midi studio' consists of:
PF8 Roland digital piano,
Roland Alpha Juno 2
RA80 real time arranger
Keyboard spitter Akai
Atari Mega 2, with Steinberg 24 sw. (No hard disk)
Purchased recently a DEC PC 220, with DECjet 2000 printer.
(Need to learn if I should keep the atari dedicated for midi or change to
MS-DOS world. I don't know prices of interfaces and software very well)
Keep my attention more to DIXIE/SWING/BOSA NOVAs/Latin Jazz then POP.
In regards to popular music; there are already so many doing that stuff
that I felt - let's do something different, go for swing.
Bert.

| So, what does a RA buy you? What are the gazintas and gazoutas?

| Please be patient, I am preparing myself for a business trip this week.
Next week is not much time left either, Christmas time, so watch out
for after Christmas. First business, then hobbies!
