2781.0. "Film & Video Magazine" by MIZZOU::SHERMAN (ECADSR::Sherman DTN 223-3326) Wed Dec 04 1991 12:38

    Anybody every seen a magazine called "Film & Video Magazine"? It was
    recommended to me by Dov Simens of the Hollywood Film Institute (in LA)
    who occasionally flies to Boston to present a class for independent film
    makers. He recommended it as the magazine to subscribe to if you're
    interested in scoring for films. They are out of LA:

    			Film & Video Magazine
    			8455 Beverly Blvd.
    			Los Angeles, CA		90048
    			(213) 653-8053

    I spoke with them over the phone. A one-year subscription costs $42.
    Quite a chunk (for me, anyway). I checked with the local library and
    the libraries in the Metrowest don't carry a subscription. (It is not
    to be confused with Film & Video News which comes out of New York. The
    latest they have from that is 1981.) I've tried checking locally with
    no luck, yet.

    Just looking to see what the thing is about and why/if someone that wants
    to do soundtracking would want to subscribe to it.
