    Hi there guys ...

I own a YAMAHA CLP 560 that is an electronic piano with a built-in MIDI
interface and I'd like to buy a MIDI interface to allow my MS-DOS
Personal Computer to talk to it. I do not have any experience about
MIDI. Are there anybody who can advice me about this topic.

Which kind of MIDI card should be the best for my PC ?

Is there any software (freeware, shareware or pay-ware) for this kind
    of connection ?

    thanks
    luciano

| There are a variety of topics in this conference that could answer your
questions. I suggest starting with those pointed to by the KEYWORDS
"IBM", "SEQUENCING" and "GETTING_STARTED". You can view the entire list
of keywords by typing "SHOW KEYWORDS" at the Notes > prompt. Pick an
interesting topic and then type "DIR/KEY={keyword}".

I encourage you to continue asking questions in one of the existing
    topics.
