| Vangelis has historically been rather close-mouthed about his specific
setup. No news here. I bet Oberheim thru a distortion circuit.

Hammer likes Oberheims and Minimoogs. Karl's right, I'll bet they're
guitar FX.

Jan Hammer usually uses a strap-on keyboard with a custom 'moog'.
I remember that he used a custom Roland moog sound for the
sound track in "Beverly Hills Cop (I)"...("Axel F").

| Jan Hammer has a promotion deal with the makers of the LYNC strap on
keyboard.
re distortion units : I read in a interview once that he highly
recommends the use of guitar-style distortion boxes for keyboardists.

Hammer used a Probe controller built for him by my buddy Roger Powell.
This unit hooked into Moogs and Oberheims (pre MIDI!!!) The LYNC looks
a *HELL* of a lot like the Probe.
He also uses Texture and Prism for sequencing.
