    I'm new to DIGITAL but have already frequented this conference often.
    Thank you to everybody who has made this conference happen, and keep
    making it happen!
    
    I placed a previous enquiry similar to this on 17.27 but no-one seems
    to be visiting there anymore to answer it. So here I am starting a new
    note!
    
    I have downloaded some patches to my account from MIDILIB, but am
    unsure as to the correct method to use to get them to the Mac, and then
    to the synth. The overall process I understand, but the nitty-gritty
    loses me. I have used XMODEM to transfer the files to the Mac, but am
    unsure of the correct settings, etc. As yet I don't know what librarian
    I'll be using (depends on what I can borrow for a time to try), and so
    part of the quandry.....
    
    Anyone wanting to lend a hand here??? It may not be a good idea to answer
    all my questions here - or it may! Depends on whether there's any other
    beginners needing the same information (and thus a reference note
    perhaps?). Anyway I'm at NZOMIS::WOOLSTON (that's way down here at the
    bottom of the world in New Zealand), if you want to EM me and avoid
    congesting COMMUSIC with an unnecessary note.
