Hello. Can someone tell me how to reset my DX7II D to its factory defult settings? I got a manual with it when I purchased it used but this book does not seem to give instructions on how to do this anywhere. I was experimenting with some of the programming features and now, oops, the Dx will not make any sounds on its own. I'm not sure what turned it off. Actually, I got lost in the programming and I can't figure out how to get back out. Can anyone help? Is it posible to reset the Dx to factory settings? Thanks very much. Laurie

Is it all the sounds??? If so, I'd look thru the manual for a "LOCAL OFF" parameter and see what state it's in. Just for grins, take a MIDI cable, and connect it from MIDI OUT to MIDI IN on the DX. (Yep, both ends in the DX) If it works, LOCAL OFF is the problem... Edd | |||||

Thanks Edd. I'll try that tonight when I get home. Laurie |
