    Hello.

Can someone tell me how to reset my DX7II D to its
factory defult settings? I got a manual with it when I purchased
it used but this book does not seem to give instructions
on how to do this anywhere. I was experimenting with some of the
    programming features
and now, oops, the Dx will not make any sounds on its
own. I'm not sure what turned it off. Actually, I got
lost in the programming and I can't figure out how to get back out.

Can anyone help? Is it posible to reset the Dx to factory settings?

    Thanks very much.

    Laurie

| Is it all the sounds???

If so, I'd look thru the manual for a "LOCAL OFF" parameter and
    see what state it's in.

Just for grins, take a MIDI cable, and connect it from MIDI OUT
to MIDI IN on the DX. (Yep, both ends in the DX) If it works,
    LOCAL OFF is the problem...

| Thanks Edd.
I'll try that tonight when I get home.
