    well i don't quite know weather this belongs to this conference or not
    but i tried some sort of best bit algorithm for this special request:
    for staging we recently pruchased a stage lights mixing desk from
    avolights model qm 500 td. this device is very nice and flexible for
    producing various on stage light effects.
    amongst many other features it says in the manuals (even more cryptic
    than then roland's ones) that there's a pc connection for i available
    from third parties
    
    my questions:
    - did anybody work already with such a device
    - any pointers to related notes conferences
    - any known (pc-nonpc) SW products for this device
