    I just bought and tested a MIDI interface from MIDIER'S LAND in
    Alhambra CA (see Elect. Musician Jan 91, p.88). Their software driver
    crashed my system. Asking for support they had difficulties to even
    understand (!?) my system configuration (e.g. MS-DOS version, HW CPU 
    and speed). 
    
    After hours of changing IRQs, changing slots and testing
    another driver on 2nd floppy and talking to their 'hotline' I 
    finally decided to return the whole stuff.
    
    From what I figured out, their driver installation is not compatible to
    MS-DOS 4.01 and a 80386/25C system. So be aware...
