I just put into MIDI::a$:[midilib.deposit] a demo copy of Laser Music Processor. It is in 4 files: LMPDEMO.EXE WORK.EXE PROGRAM.EXE LMPREADME.1ST The three .EXE files are actually self-unpacking archive files for IBM PC. I don't know that these programs are available on any other machines; I certainly don't have the other versions. Enjoy! Burns

I am a new MIDI user with a Sound Blaster and a Korg electric piano plus a Yamaha synth. I looked in MIDI::a$:[midilib.deposit]*.* and behold there are NO files in the directory. Can you tell me how I can acess the above ?? or have I missed something vital. Regards Geoff From OZ

Welcome, Geoff- or perhaps "G'day, mate!" is more appropriate, eh? The [MIDILIB.DEPOSIT] area is where we peons are allowed to put new files, and the "safe" areas where these precious gems reside are write-protected to prevent "accidents." Do a "DIR *.DIR" from [MIDILIB], and you'll see the top of the directory hierarchy which sorts things out into their appropriate slots. Enjoy. Cheers, Bob
