I've got some songs for Cakewalk sequencer that I would like to convert for use with Voyetra's MARK III sequencer. Although I own both sequencers the Voyetra is my favourite one. Mark III is able to read standard MIDI files, but Cakewalk (2.0) is not. Does anyone know an inexpensive way to convert these songfiles? I don't want to upgrade to Cakewalk Professional because I don't use it anymore. Any help appreciated! Regards Joerg

Joerg, I've got Cakewalk 2.0, and a utilities diskette containing various programs for converting between Cakewalk and MIDI files, and between Cakewalk and Copyist. Contact me on HSKAPL::VERGHESE if you are interested. Joachim
2415.2 | Cakewalk can do it for you... | LNGBCH::STEWART | Wed Aug 15 1990 10:49 | 14
If you know someone who has Cakewalk 3.0 (like me) you can ask him/her to do the conversion. 3.0 can write standard MIDI files. If you don't have a tremendous volume of stuff and feel like paying for shipping (both ways) I can do this for you. Alternatively, you could buy Cakewlk 3.0 for about $100 and then be able to do your own conversions whenever you like. |
