2404.0. "YAMAHA C1 Graphics mode???" by HEAD::SMITH () Tue Jul 31 1990 12:40
Does anyone have a YAMAHA C1 Music Computer? If so, I hope you can
help me.
I have recently bought a C1 complete with the Sequence CSQ1 program.
The graphics resolution (640 x 400) used by this program is excellent,
upto VGA standard I would say, even though the screen is defined
as a CGA80 type.
I have now installed MS-DOS V4.01 on the m/c along with DOSSHELL,
the menu-driven interface to DOS. My problem is this: The mouse
pointer appears as a solid rectangle instead of the usual arrowhead
found in the sequencer progam, and the slider panels have been replaced
by an up and down arrow. The DOS manual explains this as being due
to the screen being in TEXT mode during the installation of DOS.
How do I put the screen in GRAPHICS mode ?
Thanks in advance for any help.
