I did a keyword search on a Korg RK100 keyboard but couldn't find anything. This is suppose to be a "remote keyboard". Is this suppose to imply that it is a keyboard controller like the KX's and the MKB's? Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of the RK100 or what it actually is? As usual any assistance is greatly appreciated. Kevin

RE < Note 2264.0 by MAMIE::MCQUADE "TAMPOPO...The First Noodle Western" > The RK100 is a "sling-on" controller (like a psuedo-guitar). It has about 3.5 octaves of keys, and they are non-touch sensitive. I also think it may be fairly limited as far as what midi channels it transmits on (probably only ch 1 or 2). It's an o.k. piece of equipment, but I think the KX5 or Roland's AXIS is better. Even Casio's AZ1 has touch sensitivity. Dan |
