Does anybody know anything about the Yamaha DD10 drum machine?
It's only a cheap one, but then it's all I want to pay out for at
present.

I just went to town, and had a go on it. It's crap, so don't bother.
I fact I might delete the topic!

I thought I'd have a look at it because it has two memory banks that
are entirely programmable. It also has 98 pre-programmed patterns, of
which about 5 would be of use. Most of the rhythms are like Samba,
Waltz or whatever, so these are a waste of time. It also has fill ins
intro/ending etc.
But the reason I didn't bother is because the 26 PCM sounds are crap.
They might have sounded better on a higher volume, but I'd get so
embarrassed - I was in a shop.
It looked good - MIDI, 8 buttons + 2 mouse type button on cables (I
suppose for your feet). But I think it is made to catch beginners,
with is shoulder strap etc.
It is amazing that my keyboard, which cost twice as much, has 32 more
realistic sounds, but only 1 programmable track, the same 100 rhythms,
but also a synth, 5 bank chord seqencer, 100 voices plus lots more that
I can't be bothered to explain. See the For Sale note.
I don'y know what I'm gunna do now! Boo Hoo!!!
