2089.0. "TASCAM M06 Mixer (or suggestions)" by RTL::DESK::TOTTON () Fri Aug 18 1989 17:01

Daddy's is selling this 6x2 mixer for $319. I'm looking for a mixer for my
1000PX and stereo out from my keyboard which can support one or two headphones,
provide some EQ (the Kurzweil needs it), and is relatively quiet.

Is the M-06 a reasonable choice?

	Kawai makes an 8x2 this can be found for around $300 new. In
	fact, I think someone in here had one for sale for about $200;
	check the For Sale topic. This mixer has two effects
	sends/channel, a 3 position input attenuator for each channel, is
	rack-mountable, and has a 3 output MIDI buffer (1 input goes to 3
	outputs). BOSS has some inexpensive mixers also, but I don't
	have any experience with those.

      Check out the Kawai MX8r 8x2. Doesn't have an EQ though. ABout $250.
    Has selectable post/pre gain on one of the effect loops. One headphone
    output. Rackmount 2 high.

2089.3I liked the M-06FGVAXX::LAINGSoft-Core Cuddler*Jim Laing*282-1476Mon Aug 21 1989 11:565
    I had the M-06, I liked it but sold it since I was going with all
    rack-mountable gear. The M-06 had a lot packed into a small package,
    and certainly seemed quiet.
