2078.0. "MIDI controlled switch" by STKSMA::HALL (Take care of your MIDI) Sat Aug 12 1989 08:11

I looking for a small box (or anything) which gives me the possibility
to send a Program Change into it and have som relays (or other
    electronic switches) activated.

I have a Leslie Simulator with a footswitch to control
ON/OFF/TREMOLO/CHORUS and I would like to do this over MIDI.

    Any suggestions

There are a number of these units. Prentend you're a guitar player
when you enter a music store and you will have an easier time finding
    them.

Sholtz R&D makes device (call the Octapus, I think) which provides
eight MIDI controlled ``foot switches''. I think Kitty Hawk (another
guitar electronics company) makes something comparable.

Two or three months ago, Electronic Musician had a kit/project
	for a midi controller (channel select & 8 notes - on/off only).
They had a PC board & parts available. You might want to look into
recent issues (I was looking at this for a lighting system
controller, since it can drive a relay, or any other switching
	device).
