2022.1 | What I recall... | CSC32::MOLLER | Nightmare on Sesame Street | Wed Jun 14 1989 15:38 | 7 |
| There is an ad for it in this months Electronic Musician. It has an 8
channel mixer (but It says it has 16 inputs). The ad doesn't say if it's
4, 6 or 8 tracks on the cassette, so, I'm assuming 4 tracks. Looks like
they'd have problems finding a place for any more knobs/sliders from the
picture. I don't recall them mentioning tape speed either.

2022.3 | Audio Specs Anyone? | TROA01::HITCHMOUGH | | Fri Jun 16 1989 11:35 | 6 |
| Sounds like it has some good functions, but what does it SOUND like?
I picked up a used 244 for $340 and that sounds o.k., so are these
extra functions alone worth the extra bucks???

2022.4 | Halfway There | AQUA::ROST | It's the beat, the beat, the beat | Fri Jul 07 1989 09:16 | 5 |

From the ads in this month's music mags, apparently the MIDI part
is just an onboard sync function and the ability to remember channel
assigns but *not* to have programmable scenes like a DMP-7 (i.e.
it doesn't rememeber gain and EQ settings).

2022.5 | Sounds like a leap in home recording | ELWOOD::CAPOZZO | | Fri Jul 07 1989 09:49 | 8 |
| The 644 will be retail between $1495 and $1595. So if you add up
