I just did a "DIR/TITLE=CARL" in an attempt to look for notes pointing COMMUSICers where to write for the CARL tape. If you don't know what the CARL tape is, don't worry. If you do, would you please reply with info on how I can get a copy? CARL (I hope I've got this right) is a public domainish set of music generation, etc. programs for UNIX systems. I'm told CMUSIC is one of them. I'd like to get a copy and see how hard they would be to convert to run on another (non-UNIX, non-VMS) platform. regards, -jim
