-< Service for Tascam 38 >-
Hi Ralph,
Long time...
Rick Swenson, formerly of Wurly's in Framingham, is the local Tascam rep.
He turns up at all the local store clinics. The guys at Wurly's are real
good friends with Rick. You might try contacting Eddie Fritz at Worcester
Wurly's for advice (508) 754-5271. Wurly's uses Pro Audio in Boston for
repair. For an additional "rush" fee they will guarantee repairs fast.
A friend of mine took his Peavey amp in for emergency repairs on a Friday
and had it back Saturday. Repairing a T38 might take longer, depending upon
whether the problem is mechanical or electrical, and the availability of
parts. What are the symptoms of the problem?

| There's a place in Cambridge called DB Engineering. I think it's
on Mass. Ave near Berkley - probably listed in information. Haven't
had work done there, but almost bought a deck from them. They seem
pretty professional. I believe they will work on tape heads, etc.
