I contacted Kurzweil recently and have become a 3rd party software and patch developer for the 1000 series. I have complete MIDI information on the 1000 series, as well as a disk full of PD patches for various types of 1000 models. Some require the PX/A expander option. Some are for the K1000/1000PX/1000PX+. Others are for the HX,GX,SX. Opcode is due to come out with a patch editor/librarian for the MAC in about 4-6 months. None of the developer information is restricted or confidential. Kurzweil is glad to have 3rd parties interested. If you would like to become a developer, contact Kurzweil @ 893-5900 and ask for David Fox (not easy to reach, leave a message on answering machine). I will be developing sequences on the MAC as demos for the PX1000.
