1878.0. "How Much Is A Used Kawai K3 Worth?" by AKO546::JODOIN () Thu Jan 26 1989 12:00
Hi all,
I am in the process of looking for a new piano (acoustic or
electronic). I have not decided on anything yet, as I have been
trying to cut down on the recomended lists I have gotten so far.
In the process of buying something new, I would like to sell
my Kawai K3, but I am not sure how much it is worth. It is about
2 years old right now. I am the original owner, and it looks like
new. It has never left my house, and has been cleaned on a regular
basis. I have used it around 1 hour a night for the 2 years I have
owned it. (not really every night, I got lazy on practicing a few
times) The original purchase price was $1200.00, and it came with
an extra RAM pack which I will obviously throw in. I still have
all the manuals which have been read 2-3 times at the most, and
I also have a stand to go with it if necessary.
What I would like to know is how much it is worth. It is a polyphonic
analog synth that can do some very neat things. I am selling it,
because I want to go back to basics with a STRAIGHT piano before
convoluding everything with synth type stuff. I also want to start
learning more classical pieces.
Any help would be appreciated.
Dave

| Last Fall, K3m rack modules were going for about $325. Multiply by
an appropriate with keyboard factor.
