| Yes, I too have an M1 and must say it seems to be the best in the
price range at the moment... This of course IS subjective, but I
am very happy (not to mention broke) with mine.
Jonathan
P.S yes I know I said I wouldn't do this... so I lied... sue me...
I just couldn't resist !!!

| I've had one for a few months. My D50 (using Roland and Voice Crystal
cards) sounds dull in comparison - when the D50 isn't given additional
processing.
I usually use my MC-500 but have come up w/ 4 or 5 decent tunes/ideas using
the M1's sequencer. If I were going on a trip or away from my home studio,
I'd take the M1, headphones, and a couple of RAM cards to work out ideas
until I got back.
Eddie at EU, Worcester said 4 new PCM/ROM card pairs will be released by Korg
soon.

Hi there,
I agree the manual is a bit technically orientated
for myself but help at hand. According to the December
issue of Keyboard, Alexander Publishing (3537 Old
Conejo Road, Suite 101, Newbury Park, CA 91320)
have released a book calles KORG M1 Sequencing and
Recording Handbook ($27.95), and they say that
a similar book on M1 programming is in the works.
Hope this helps.
Jason.
PS. Got any good patches???

| Hi,
I bought an M1 about 2 months ago, and am having a lot of fun with
it. This is the first time I have owned a synthesiser, so I am going
through quite a learning curve...what a good thing this conference
is here !

Ok , this is just a quick note to reply
to the statement in the EPS topic where
someone said that on an M1 you cant
have the seqeuncer playing and play
the keyboard at the same time....
Wrong!!!!!!!
All you have to do is select which track you
are going to play in the seqencer window and
away you go.

He played me a tape he'd made using the M1 ONLY, utilizing its internal
sequencer.

So, as my TAX money nears, wot's a good price on the rack unit?

Nobody answered Karl's question, now a friend of mine (let's
not worry about names :-)) is asking what the best deal is and where.
OK, so its almost June - they must have dropped the price a bit ???
