| WAG- I bet there's a reason, judging from the similar names. Couldn't
even fathom a guess as to why.
Doesn't the DX7II-nn have a parameter that lets you assign various
levels to groups of keys across the keyboard? Can you find it?
Can you tweak it?

Standard Yamahisms I've noticed are that if it doesn't work, check
the breath controller setting. Dollars to doughnuts those two want
some outboard controller to control amplitude.

| And if it's got the E! board in it, who *knows* what's happening? Find
a PIANO or ORGAN patch. If they play alright, it ain't hardware.

I'me almost certain that we have heard this problem before. Wasn't
it the blind lady who was seekning help with her tactile set up.
And yes I think it did relate to Breath Controllers. It's back there
somewhere.
BTW if you need DX7 voices we have thousands.
Brad I have some more to send you when I get the time.

| Bring 'em on, PK.
For what it's worth, I have some *very* nice FM versions of the current
hot L/A sounds ... duplicated down to the name. 8-)
Don't work so hot on the old DX architecture, but U should hear 'em on
the TX802 ...
I'll be posting them, too ... someday ..........
