Want to say a polite goodbye. Tomorrow (Thursday) is my
last day at DEC. I'm leaving to work at a new company doing
hardware for a high end 3D graphics system. Exciting work and
an exciting opportunity.
Just finished five years at DEC. I had to leave. Every morning
while reading COMMUSIC I've caught myself reaching for my VISA card
with one hand while dialing up some mail order place with the other.
Working at DEC was making me go broke :^).
Seriously, rarely have I witnessed a forum evolve as easily and
attractively as COMMUSIC. You are to be commended for packing the
most info per screen than any other conference on the network.
I'm going to miss my COMMUSIC friends, but I'll be sure to make
my usually monthly trek to LERDS-BIM.
