1585.0. "Todd Rhodes' Goodbye Topic" by HPSTEK::RHODES () Mon Aug 01 1988 14:56

This is it - my last week at DEC. I am moving on to the land of small_
ventures_struggling_to_survive to learn more about small business as I
view myself as an entrepreneur-in-training. For many years I've had this
serious itch to do something on my own, and damned if the feeling never
goes away. Time to point my career in the direction of that future goal.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank each and every contributor for making
this conference more entertaining than MIDI equipment itself. Thanks
especially to the early contributors for laying the foundation of a very
informative and entertaining conference in a cultish sort of way. Thanks to
all current contributors for maintaining the look and feel. This conference
and the friends I've made through it will be sorely missed. I do hope to
attend the ever famous LERDS-BIM at least as often as I do now, and hope to
keep in touch with many of the participants on a regular basis.

Todd Rhodes.

It's an interesting phenomenon. Not having met most of the people
in this conference face to face, it is truly a strange feeling when
you think "gee, I'll miss this guy". You comments have been
    appreciated.

I learn alot from people in this conference.

I think it was in reference to his COMMUSIC I submissions that Todd once
said that he liked his music to leave room for the imagination.

So as I listened to "Blend Trend" and "A001R" and thought about his statement,
Todd influenced me.

Good luck Todd, sorry to see you go
