Could someone explain what LEDS-BIM means?

I just can't figure it out.

Thx/Mitch

    Hi -
Joe Libertini and myself, Tom Rataski, are both normal readers of this
conference. It so happens we are both attending a class at Parker
    street in Maynard.

Would you folks mind some company next wednesday? We would need
instructions on how do to get to the said the watering hole.

    30th of Decembers)?

Well, Len and I are proud to announce the change of nomenclature
from LEDS-BIM to *LERDS-BIM* in honor of Mr. Ronald Milhouse Ross
who has actually been a charter member, but just happened to be
elsewhere the night Len and I thought up the acronym. Since he
wasn't there we just said "screw 'im". ;^)

We trust the addition of the R to the name makes up for this.

We also regret to inform that we can add no more letters without
    payment of a nominal fee.

BIMs still happen more or less regularly, but the attendance seems
to be down to Edd, len (when he's in town) and Tom. We may have
to go back to LEDS from LERDs, as Ron's been conspicuously absent
these last many months. And since Tom's job moved, he may be a
less frequent participant. Well, down to the hard core - len and
Edd, swapping MC-500 disks of TX81Z patches...

We're currently planning on BIMming the 13th.
