So, whose mixed-in pre-recorded sounds with their music? I can
think of two "groups": Zappa and the Beatles.
"The present day composer refuses to die!" - Edgard Varese,
July 1921.
Whomever figures out where I got this quote gets a cookie!

I suppose you meant off the liner of one of Zappa's albums...it's
on Freak Out, aint it? and in a mutant form on Ruben and the Jets?
What kind of cookie and did Edd eat it yet?

| Well, it's not in *my* copy of "Hot Rats"...
So I went and checked out my records...
OK, the quote appears on the liners of "Freak Out", "Absolutely Free"
and "We're Only In It For The Money". On "Ruben and the Jets" it is
rephrased as "The present day Pachuco refuses to die" and is
attributed to Ruben Sano.
Is the cookie stale now?
