312.2 | I've got it! June 27, 1986 | CLULES::SPEED | Derek Speed, WS Tech Mktg | Fri Jun 27 1986 13:31 | 11 |
| Now we can start to use this note for the purpose for which it is
intended: who has the tape currently!
Mark Schmieder gave it to me yesterday (I actually got it today
since I was out of the office yesterday). I will copy it over the
weekend (today is Friday) and return it to Mark on Monday so he
can pass it along to the next person on the list.
Derek
P.S. Can't wait to hear this stuff!

312.3 | I Just Saw It Go By (bye-bye)... | ERLANG::FEHSKENS | | Wed Jul 02 1986 10:59 | 7 |
| I got THE TAPE from Mark Schmieder yesterday (1 July) at about 5PM.
I gave THE TAPE to Steve Klosterman last night at about 9PM.
Do I hold the record for fastest turnaround?

312.4 | Now, who gets in next? | VERDI::KLOSTERMAN | Stevie K | Wed Jul 02 1986 11:07 | 8 |
| Mark dropped it off...I picked it up, so Len always probably holds the
record for lowest milage, too :-).
Of course I got it somewhat unexpectedly...and out of sync. I'll try to
return to the desired distribution method...now if I can only find the
note/reply that explains the latest method... (any pointers?)

312.5 | ATTN: Ed Cote | MOZART::KLOSTERMAN | Stevie K | Wed Jul 02 1986 12:52 | 10 |
| Ed Cote. I'd like to drop the tape off to Ed Cote next since he works
in Marlboro and I live in Marlboro. His local MRO contingent would probably
quickly pass the tape around and get rid of many people on the list real fast.
But, alas, when I send MAIL to MENTOR::COTE, it don't work.
So, if Ed's listening, let me know if that's good for you and I'll be
prepared to drop it off anytime tomorrow.
Thanks,
Stevie K

312.7 | Whoopppeee!!! | MENTOR::COTE | Wucka, wucka, wucka... | Thu Jul 03 1986 12:26 | 13 |
| I got it! I'm gonna make a handfull (5-6) copies. 1 for me, one
for Reg, one for Toad Rods, one for Garrett Marotta and a couple
spares. This should hasten up distribution.
What .dis rev we on now? Who gets it next?
If I get a fast reply I could have it in the mail to (Loretta?)
Saturday.... if indeed we are on the original.
Let's get those addresses deleted from 311 for those who have had
it!!!

Edd,
I not sure who gets the tape next, but if you're making copies for
the Marlboro contingent I sure would like to be included (cost of
tape covered of course). BTW, I also had trouble getting VMS mail
to you. Something about "invalid log-in information" on your node.

| Help!!! My home cassette has begun eating tapes! So not wanting
to bring the process to a flaming crash could someone make me a
copy (I'll gladly rpay you for shipping and tape costs) and then
remove me from the distribution? I can still listen in my truck
but I fear for the life of the tape if I place it in my pioneer.....so
sorry to disturb the process again. An yes I'd be satisfied with
a "3rd" generation copy made by someone who has already shipped
of the master.
many thanks...

312.17 | | BARTOK::ARNOLD | Smiley faces not included. | Thu Jul 17 1986 18:50 | 12 |
| I received the Volume I master tape from Ralph Crowley today.
It will be in the mail to Brian Markey tomorrow (Friday).
I'm following the routing listed in note 311.67. I'll be sending
a copy to Paul Kent. From the previous notes in this topic, it
appears that David Bottom has already arranged for a copy to be
sent to him.
Brian should get it in the mail Monday or Tuesday.

| I mailed the Master Tape to Brian Markey at lunch today (1st class,
USPS). Brian, you should expect to receive it at your Framingham
address on Monday or Tuesday.
Paul Kent: I made your copy last night, too. I should get that in the
mail to you tomorrow or Monday. I'll send it Air Mail so you get it
before Christmas. You can owe me pint or 2 if I ever get to visit the
UK again.
Whew. I'm glad it's out of my hands.
- John -
P.S. I didn't listen along to the whole thing while I was making a
copy but what I did hear was VERY diverse and quite good. A
more detailed review will be posted in the next week or two.

| It seems that Bill Wake will be unavailable until monday.
Rather than simply leave it laying on his desk over a valuable weekend,
or worse, entrust it to the US Postal service for an even longer
period of time, I have temporarily rerouted the tape to the next ZKO
recipient.John Sauter will find it laying on *his* desk in the morning.

Jason, please tell us what you did with it; who you mailed it to.
Failure to do so will be interpreted as consent for a VERY large
