    It's a mouthpiece you blow into (looks kinda like a fat referree's
    whistle) and use to get a tad bit more expression in horn or other
    wind instrument sounds.
    
    It doesn't work unless the proper parameters are set in your patch.
    
    I'm not particularly impressed with mine. It seems to react too
    fast, and I believe it takes too much breath to operate. (I have
    an alto sax that doesn't take as much out of me.)
    
    How does it work? I have no idea... magic probably. There is an
    electrical connection between the BC-1 and my DX so my best guess
    is that blowing into it causes some sort of diaphragm to flex which
    in turn sends a signal down the wire.
    
    For $30+ I'm glad I have it...
