| I bought through the Employee Lease program about 3 years ago.
At that time there was only PHH and I would personally recommend
them. They got a much better price for me for the car I wanted
than what I could negotiate, a very low interest rate when
compared to Financial Institutions. At the end of my lease, which
is next June, I give them a dollar and the car is mine. I tallied
everything that I am paying them up to a solid dollar figure,
and this includes taxes, interest, everything, to less than what
the list price that the car showed on the window. I'm quite
happy with the way it turned out. It is well worth looking into.

| Get ready for a surprise......It won't be simply a dollar you have to
give them...in spite of whatever contract you signed. It's now
something like $60 to transfer the ownership.

Buying domestic you probably will get a better deal through them. I
was buying a VW and was able to get a better deal letting my
fingers do the walking. Once the price was arrived at, PHH was used
to lease the vehicle.

I had a similar experience. I was buying a Mazda MPV and got a quote from
PHH. It was a very good price but I decided to fax the quote to a dealer.
The dealer bettered the quote by $250.
I ended up buying the car over the phone. The salesman came here for
me to sign the papers. Easiest car deal I ever made.

| I got quotes from both leasing companies that we now have access to
for a new Toyota Corolla.
Including all costs and fees, Bodking Leasing (PHH) was about $1600.00
cheaper than the standard retail price. The max I could put down as a
down payment was 50% of their price. Then I had the choice of
a 1/2/3/4 year lease. I have to make the payments for 12 months and
I can purchase the car after that. The residual value is about $1700
after the 2 years are over. The interest rate on the lease is 1% above
prime, 4.75% + 1.
The other company, Newcourt Financial was about $800.00 more than Bodkin
and their rate was 8%, so they were out of the picture.
When I mentioned to the dealer about my PHH offer he said that he would
match it...
This route is definitely worth looking into for bargaining power.
Have a look at:

BTW, Bodkin PHH now takes the monthly payments from bank accounts, there
are no more payroll deductions. Advantage if you leave Digital is that
you continue your lease as is.
