    well i'm leaving the canada notesfile for a while, too much animosity
    already stirred up. i think you guys should take it easy on poor ol'
    Marise, she is working hard at school and me thinks she ran into a
    "loser" and was directing most of her replies at him and not at the
    general population here on the notesfile.

    Just one more thing before I go.  You fail to recognize the possibility
    that women can be losers too. Women abuse men, not physically (as they
    are usually too small, but i admit there are some pretty strong scarry
    women out there that can and do some damage) they abuse men
    pyschologically. My mom for instance, used to say: "wait 'till your
    father gets home", as if it is my dad's responsibility to punish me for
    something that my mom wants me punished for. Why couldn't she do it
    herself? the only answer is that I think she did not want me to think
    she was the bad guy/girl. If my father failed to punish me to my
    mothers satisfaction, look out--he was no longer a man. My dad never
    hit my mom, but she did throw a pound of butter at him, and a wine
    glass, family stories that we all laugh at--the WOMAN abusing the man.
    
    In another instance where women show their true colours is when they
    are rejected. Women reject men, that is a given, but turn the tables on
    a woman--and you get a whole new ball game. Women don't like being
    rejected--guess what, neither do men. I've rejected three women in my
    whole life, and in each case, i've been made to look like the bad guy.
    People tend to rally behind a woman who is upset, and when it is a man
    that upset her, it is obviously the mans fault--a rejected woman will
    thrive on that fact. 
    
    Psychological abuse is real and it has real effects, one of which may
    be physical abuse.  
    	For instance: a woman used to come over to my house for piano
    lessons (my gilfriend is a pianao teacher) it was known to us that this
    woman was being abused by her husband and past husbands. Honestly, she
    was the only woman I've ever felt the desire to hit. She used to berate
    me for making dinner for my girlfriend. She'd say stuff like "wow you
    have him trained well" sorry lady I'm not trained. Basically, this
    woman treated men like dogs, she had no respect for them, even for me
    who had little if any communication with her. In my opinion she brought
    the abuse on herself--a statement that i know will cause me trouble.
    When i did something nice for my girlfriend, it was because i wanted
    something out of her (according to the abused lady), i could never be
    capable of just being nice.

    	I have no hard feelings or animosity towards you. One thing I will
    never allow is to become wrapped up into a debate so much that my
    feelings become part of the debate itself. And I am talking about bad
    feelings like anger and animosity, not the good traits like passion and
    individuality. These make for great character and spirit, something I
    find lacking in today's society. I love debating (as you probably can
    already see) and if you make a point to me, you must prove it,
    observe it, or retract it. I know this sounds like something you hear
    from your University Professor, but it is something I have incorporated 
    into my life (hey I learned something in 4 years!). Hence, I do not like
    sterotypes or labelling people with traits, and if heard, I will react
    to the statements. So speaking for myself, no feelings here and I do
    not think as Wilson stated I should take it easy on you. You have
    proven you can handle yourself, this of course does not mean I agree
    with you as your reasoning is illogical, leftist and has no basis with
