We stayed at the King Eddy. What a great place! The surroundings are 'old world' - very refreshing compared to the clinical feel of some of these new hotels. The room was luxurious, with everything that one needs including plenty of space etc etc. The staff were some of the most helpful that I have ever come across, although they do like to be tipped a fair amount (who wouldn't). We didn't have the opportunity to have dinner there, family commitments fixed that! But the breakfast was excellent. Good beer list for me and great cocktails for Mrs B. I guess all those Foster's comercials we get here really are true.
Aussies really seem to like their alcohol. 8^)
