| suggestions to check out:
- Arnprior is about 1/2 hour. It has great facilities (arena's,
parks, swimming pools, BARS etc.) It has a diversified business
environment, from high-tech to saw-mills, 2 rivers running through
it, the might Ottawa included. I love Arnprior but I don't live
there (yet), worth checking out ihmo
- Almonte is very near to Carleton Place, check it out on the same
trip. It is not as big as CP but I keep hearing good things about
it.
- I personally find the (asking) house prices in CP to be a little
on the high side, IMHO
- Quebec is within 1/2 hour away from Kanata but only if you can
fly across rivers.

| I can already here the hecklers....but Stittsville is as close as you
can get to Kanata (10 min from plant), but still has a nice small-town
atmosphere. I find it a real contrast to Kanata.
