I am looking for information on schools (colleges/universities) in
Toronto area. My niece is planning to start her undergraduate studies
in January and would like to go school in Toronto area (since her
parents are re-locating there).
I looked on the WEB and found SCHOOLFINDER, but it only lets me search
for colleges/universities by subject. There is no location or language
index. My main interest is in finding schools in this area. Her general
interest is in Biological sciences leading towards pre-med.
Also, I presume that canadian system must also require something like
SAT just like US. What is it called ?? Where can I get information on
that ??
Would greatly appreciate any help, pointers in this matter.

UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO (probably your best bet for pre-med)
RYERSON
As for colleges, you can try searching the web for
SENECA
CENTENNIAL
HUMBER COLLEGE
Not sure what the requirements are for admittance testing of foreign
students, but I know tuition is unsubsidized (approx $10k/year plus
living exp.)
There are other universities *near* Toronto, that you may wish to
investigate such as WESTERN, MCMASTER, WILFRID LAURIER, WATERLOO.
