Now that Japan and the European Economic Community have just decided to
lift the ban on whale fishing in the Saint-Laurent Gulf, I would like
to organize a nice vacation whale-fishing with my family and a few
friends.
I would appreciate any information on where the good spots are, the best
period, any good tour operator, where to get good and reasonably price
equipment,etc... aside from whales, is it possible also to catch a dolphin
or two ? We start receiving brochures from Spanish tour organisers, but
we would prefer to give our business to a Canadian organization.

The best place to fish is the Grand banks or the Bermuda triangle.
But make sure you come with an illegal net.

As Christ (Charlie) could have said: "We've been in the (illegal) net
business ever since Moby Dick was a minnow!"
One could argue that the big Dick was never by no mean a minnow but a
calf, but I mean, how could one decently post a note about a "Calf fishing
trip".
So, any good whale killing tips ?
