Could someone tell me who is the current prime minister of Canada? When
was he elected and from which party is he from? I'll also appreciate
any other information that you can provide about him.
I need this information for my son's school assignment. Thanks in
advance for your help.
Benny
P.S. I am posting from Australia, so please forgive my ignorance.

re. " I need this information for my son's school assignment."
Right! Likely story! Stop that immediately! It is still time !
Maybe we can even still help you. Will you cooperate ?
Why do you want to know ? How much do they pay you ? Why did you accept ?
When did it start ? Did they mention the word "Sarnia" ?
Enough said.

Our current prime minister is Jean Chertien, a life long Liberal from
I believe Shawinigan, Quebec.
He is a career politician who has been in our Parliament for at least
20 years. (anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
Other than that, I don't know a lot more about him.
