Lately a securities firm is soliciting a company called Q&A Communications Inc which they claim that it price will jump up when they close their in June. The company is a major player in Verbatim (court)reporting and their stocks are traded thro Canadian Dealing Network. 1. What is Canadian Dealing Network? Where can I get price quotes from this network? 2. How can I find how reputable that securities firm is? (BBB???) I just requested an annual report from Q&A Communications and will look into what this company does but I though all stock trading is done thro stock exchange in major cities, is this true. David C.

Try the Ontario Securities Commision for info about the dealer. There have always been "over-the-counter" stocks that were traded outside the stock exchange system. The NASDAQ system in the US is an OTC dealing network, not a stock exchange in the tradional sense, I suspect the Canadian Dealing Network is a mini-NASDAQ. | |||||
