According to about 5 lines in the Colorado Springs newspaper,
Kim has been ousted as leader of the PC party.
True or False ?
When's the next convention ? Apart from Jean Charest who's up
and running ?

Kim Campbell resigned as the leader of the PC party. Jean Charest took
over as intrum leader. He will probably be declared leader in the New
Year. I believe he agreed to the job with that condition.
I guess Kim was ousted. At a speech a week or so previous she declared
her intent to pull the party together and reconstruct for the next
general election. A week later she's toast.
Perhaps others may know some of the sorid details. I understand the
party defunded her (no office or anything). The top brass let slip her
resignation days before it was official. She was probably told to
resign with what dignity she had left.
