| This may have changed, but when I changed from Quebec to Ontario in
1982, all I did was trade it in for the much cheaper Ontario license. I
didn't have to take any test or sing "God Save The Queen".

expensive one in Ottawa/suburbs.

Hey Mario,
Hows it going?
I really didnt want this note to degenerate into why anyone would
want to move from Quebec to Ontario (or vice versa). House price certainly is
an issue, but its not the only factor to consider. We all have our reasons
for making personal choices.
In my case, being an immigrant Brit who doesnt speak French (and
its implications) is a good enough reason to want to leave, regardless of
comparitive house prices.

trading in a Quebec drivers license for a house in the Ottawa suburbs.

The answer is YES, you must take your drivers license over
again to get the house in the Ottawa Suburbs.

Just in case anyone is really interested you have to do an eye
test that takes about 2 mins.
