| Well, I'm starting to formulate a reply to SOAPBOX 1888 to really
embarrass 'dem Yanks. Please help compile the following list ('cause I
know there are lots more, but memory recall is ... uh ... oh, fading,
that's the word! :-)
Well, what would Hollywood be without Canadians? Examples:
Lorne Greene Ben Cartwright - Bonanza
Raymond Burr Ironside, Perry Mason
William Shatner Star Trek (we don't forgive him yet for T.J. Hooker
or RESCUE 911)
James Doohan "Beam me up, Scotty"
Leslie Nielsen Naked Gun, lots else
Michael J. Fox Back to the Future, lots else
Margot Kidder Lois Lane
Christopher Plummer Too many to name
And Newscasters:
Peter Jennings,
And then there's Sports:
Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux,...

I think there are a lot of Trekkers who still haven't forgiven him for
his "Get a life" remark.
Let us not forget Bob and Doug McKenzie(both big and little screen)

| First off, Bell was a Scot who split his time about evenly between
Canada and the US.
Secondly, YOU can't call him Uncle Alex, he's MY Uncle Alex (well
actually he's probably a cousin, my great-grandmother was a Bell and
was born near Brantford, never had to time to research it fully though)
Finally, there was another fellow (an American) who independently
invented the telephone but Bell beat him to a patent.
