| You didn't tell us where you went last weekend or the chip wagons and
ice creams stands you found there ...
Anyway, isn't Richmond a little far away ... still, there is a DEC
office there ... it serves Vancouver. And what's more it's the future
western terminus of the Grand Canal ...
You won't like chips there though ... lots of English people who like
brown malt vinegar on their chips ...

| The weekend was fine, I appreciate all the pointers, and I have many
more travel plans this summer.

I thought I read that Richmond is a Coca-Cola dry town. They switched
to Pepsi maybe a year ago.
You won't like it there, all the streetnames were named after
the first two residents of the town. Also all the residence of the town
are related to the People whom the streets were named after. Deduce
from this that they don't like outsiders.

| so who were the first two residences (and how long ago was that...) just trying
to figure out how messed up (genetically) that town must be if what you say is
true... Then again how do you know Derek isn't related? After all he is a
Street...
(sorry man, couldn't help it, no names mentioned...)

| Tamas,
I'm impressed.
This has turned out to be a very interesting and informative note. I
commend eveyone on their contributions to the betterment of humanity
through this note.
Impressionably,
Glenn
P.S.
Wow.

Yes it's true. I live on King Street and Elvis got his start
at the Richmond Inn.
You're out of luck to see the Richmond 175 giant 30' snowman, but
his disappearance means the chip stand now has its parking lot back. It's
just a short walk to the bakery. Continue down Perth street to
the curling club then on to the arena.
Enjoy the panorama of the fairgrounds. You can attend the
Corn festival if you come back in August.

Derrek,
I'm not sure what you may have stepped on there in Richmond, but
I think it may have been contaminated. IT seems that we now have a
virus in this notesfile, and it only effects the notes which you
write.(or at least have an opinion about! ) :-)
Coincidence?

| I would have moved to Richmond after hearing all the wonderful things
about it, but a Coca-Cola dry town. Not in this lifetime.
MMMMIIIKKKEEE:::
I tried really hard to get it off the bottom of my shoe, but it appears
that it has worked its way into this conference.
