| He was on the Larry King show (CNN) a month or so ago. I was very impressed with
his competence. He stated that the situation in Yugoslavia was the most hostile
he's been involved with during peace keeping operations. He said that both sides
consider third parties to be collaborators if they so much as talk to the
opposition. He advised President Bush to avoid American troop involvement
likening the situation to guerrilla warfare on a scale worse than Vietnam.
Although for the most part I'm not impressed with the Bush administration, I
think they've done well to keep this problem at arm's length.

I have heard that he races cars -- would anyone know what kind? -
Aparently he was in Halifax, N.S. at some car races -- I would
like to know if it was NASCAR or whatever? Also how he did?
Anyone from Halifax might know this.

I believe he races a type of Formula race car, not formula one
but certainly a step above the go-cart level..probably in the
two liter (2000 cc) class, open wheels and suspension with
single cockpit. I read in the paper when he came back home
he immediately pulled the car out of storage and took it to
the track at Mt Tremblant to relax..8*).
