I get to Canada once or twice a year and have been checking newsstands
for Saturday Night magazine. (I had a subscription for a while, but let
it lapse.) I've not seen the magazine for a couple of years and suspect
that it's gone out of business.

It still exists, is owned now by Conrad Black and edited by John
Fraser, and is still a good magazine. It is distributed free with
Southam newspapers in some areas of some cities, and is also available
on newsstands and by subscription.
