My wife and I have been thinking of trying to rent a small
house on the Isle D'Orleans out side of Quebec city for a
couple of weeks in the summer. Would any one have Info as
to how much it might cost, where we could get a list of
rentals. We don't even know if people rent houses out there
for short periods of time. We live in Mass. so it's hard
to get Info down here.

I called the Quebec tourism office in Toronto and they gave me a phone
number for the tourism office right on the island. The person also
suggested speaking with a real estate office (at your own risk, and
probably 'en francais'). The number is (418)-828-9411.
You are making a good choice for vacation. The island is very pretty.
It is what I imagine Cape Cod was like before it got
over-commercialized. We took a quick drive around it 2 yrs ago, and
thought it was very charming, especially on the south coast.
