Hello people at B.C. German guy has some question's. I like the B.C. country and I have visit B.C. four times. Now I would be building a framehouse for holiday's at the Shus Swap lake near Seymour arm in august 92. Have anybody some idea's where I can buy and save money for good tool's and lumber. I think it is better to buy new tools. I am looking for, A generator 110V 4000-5000 W, a circular saw 8 1/4" a electric drywall screwdriver 1/4" a electric single drill 1/2" a electric planer 3 1/2" a winch 4000-8000 lb 110V or 12V new or used lumber 2x6x16' Hemlock 2x10x16' Fir plywood 1/2" for utillity panel plywood 3/4" for subfloor 4 tires and wheels for a chevi van new or used I'm looking forward Heinz Kurtenbach

Closest large towns would be Kamloops or Vernon, both about 1 hours drive away. If you have the time (I assume you are flying into either Calgary or Vancouver) you could buy in one of the larger cities. Calgary might be cheaper than Vancouver since there is no sales tax there. Owen |
